I am looking for websites for tech "dummies"...i.e. people who don't know a lot about technology. So pretty much the OPPOSITE of Gizmodo or Engadget.

So sites about HDTVs that assume you don't know anything about HDTV. General gadget websites for the non-informed. Photography sites for people who need help understanding digital cameras.

Get the idea?

Thanks!

For HD tv and associated items I recommend the link.  The people there answer basic questions, whereas many other sites don't like beginners:

For home theater - the "Basics" area of Home Theater Fourm is friendly and has lots of patient people.
